Our team at Homer Skelton Hyundai had the privilege of taking part in something truly meaningful — the Hyundai Hope On Wheels event at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Our General Manager, Brennon Chapman, attended alongside his wife Celeste and their daughter Collins to represent our dealership as Hyundai presented St. Jude with a grant check to support their groundbreaking work in the fight against pediatric cancer.
About Hyundai Hope On Wheels
Hyundai Hope On Wheels (HHOW) is a nonprofit organization that has been funding pediatric cancer research since 1998. The program is made possible through the support of Hyundai Motor America and its more than 830 U.S. dealerships — including Homer Skelton Hyundai right here in Olive Branch.
Here’s how it works:

A portion of every new Hyundai sold in the U.S. is donated to HHOW.

These funds are awarded as competitive grants to leading children’s hospitals and research centers across the country.

Since its founding, HHOW has donated more than $250 million to pediatric cancer research, funding over 1,300 research projects at more than 175 institutions.
The Handprint Ceremony
One of the most touching moments of the event was the handprint ceremony. Children battling cancer, their families, hospital staff, and Hyundai representatives placed colorful handprints on a white Hyundai vehicle. Each handprint represents hope, courage, and the shared fight to end childhood cancer.
Seeing these small handprints on the vehicle was a powerful reminder of why this work matters so much — every contribution brings us one step closer to a cure.
